Keep bags away from water and moisture. Follow the packaging and producer's storage instructions and avoid direct contact with damp ground.

Inspect packaging on delivery. If there are tears, water exposure or signs of deterioration, consult your supplier before use.
Safe access and unloading
Plan appropriate equipment and access for pallets, big bags or bulk deliveries. Follow professional safety procedures for enclosed pellet stores and silos; do not enter them.
Plan your stock
Arrange new deliveries so you can distinguish them from older stock. Set your ordering frequency around consumption and dry storage capacity.
